"I liked the low cost of a one night stay but ended up paying a little extra to stay somewhere else after I checked into my room. The odour of the whole hotel was musky and damp, including the room. I was told no cleaners were going to be in for a few hours, by that time I was ready to leave. Dark room with same moldy smell, smoke detector not installed (left on night stand). Great place to stay for IM 70.3 Victoria

"I visited the Vic for a triathlon race. The room had everything I needed as I brought my own food to warm up in the microwave. The room was quiet, but there was some light coming from the parking lot that came through the blinds. Not that big of a deal. The staff was very pilot and helpful. I enjoyed Hecklers after my race."
