"Located right in the center of Alvor, very close to restaurants and shops. The downside is that there is a huge construction site neighbouring the house. Lots of noise. Instructions to get into the house was unclear, the key was missing from the key chain. We waited more than 30 min to get in. There were 4 doors and none of the keys worked. We had the main floor. The upstairs is rented as well. The doors knobs need replacing, they barely work and one came off in our hand. Cleaniless...

"This villa should have been great. It is well laid out, has a nice garden and is close to amenities and beaches. However on arrival we found one bedroom unavailable due to a leaking roof. Another has a major plumbing issue so that sewage water spills from the toilet to flood the bathroom and spread foul odours. A third bedroom is constantly damp in the spring because there is no central heating so when it's cold you have to light fires in several rooms. The hot water supply is hopeless - if you...

"The property was lovely, cozy, very clean and comfortable and Christine a charming and informative host. We were close to a little family neighborhood market, with cafés, bars and shopping just a few minutes away. The beach was a nice walk and the boardwalk amazing.
