"Extremely clean property. Staff were extremely helpful from the moment we walked in. They get your bags, and load them to your room. Easy and quick check in. Complimentary drink before you get to the room. The place smelt like heaven. Not sure what that fragrance was going on in the building, but it was divine."

"Hotel is beautifully situated. Great view from our room! Staff are very attentive and helpful. Restaurant à la carte meals were excellent and one evening buffet was fairly good as well. Breakfasts were great. One wish is that there would have been a 24 hour lobby coffee bar to get early morning coffee (or a machine in the room). Staff in the breakfast room were very accommodating, but only available after 8am when the restaurant opened."
Rustic and cozy house in the village of Sabugueiro - Serra da Estrela

"Everyone needs to stay in this village. The house is pretty cool except the church bells are right there and loud. They only ring from l7 am until midnight though. We didn’t cook so I don’t know how easy that would be but they seemed to have everything you need. No shampoo, or washing machine though."

"Hot tub does not have hot water. It has jacuzzi tub bubbles but water diverses to pool st at ambiant temperature. Pool is big and very clear water. Rooms are spacious and very clean, beds cozy with soft bed linens. Staff very hospitable."
