Definitely needed more lighting; and 2 - our drain in the shower kept filling up and we had to turn the shower off so that it wouldn’t overflow. Would definitely stay there again. "

I must mention that the room did not have air conditioning, so I had to leave the window open at night, which was a bit loud until late because of the wonderful bars and restaurants in that area, but that view made up for it. "This hotel is in a great location. Close to Royal Mile, museums and shopping. Downside is no parking so best to skip car rental til you are ready to go to next location in Scotland. The food was excellent with complimentary Champaign at arrival and breakfast."

"Host was very helpful with tips for Edinburgh. He accommodated our late arrival. Parking available in back off street. Near bus transport to the Royal Mile. Older building. Clean room. Shared bath. We did not have any towels. Quite a few stairs to the room."
