"We were late arriving and had been anxious, having booked dinner, but Tanguy was a relaxed, understanding, and welcoming host. The room with its window seat, large and well-appointed bathroom, and surroundings were spotless. Despite being only a couple of streets from the busy main road Le Clos des Poulies was peaceful and set in a lovely garden. Dinner was great - thank you Tanguy!"

The sounds of nature are everywhere and there’s and easy path to wander to the edge of the property if you want to take a stroll. "Beautiful place to say with spacious gorgeous amenities,great welcome and lovely breakfast.We arrived Tuesday so most local eateries were shut .There is a reasonable restaurant 12 kilometres away but we opted for a straight forward dish at the local walkable pizzaria which was fine .In fact there is free use of the kitchen & Madame keeps a healthy stock of wine & beer that you can purchase.It would have been far more sensitive to bring our own food - next time if it’s a Monday / Tuesday."

She also made a recommendation and a reservation for us for dinner at a nice restaurant serving local dishes at reasonable price. Breakfast was delicious with homemade omelet, fruit salad, cheese, ham, pastries and yogurt. The owner if full of amazing stories about her family and ancestors. Unforgettable place to stay."
