"We wanted to try some place new for a romantic weekend and Farmers Guest House was perfect! Our room, The Charlotte, was warm and comfortable for relaxation. The breakfast that was made fresh every morning was by far the best we have ever had. The little extras like wine time with cheese and crackers made the weekend even better. A large adult timber rattlesnake sunning in some tall grass that picked up its head for a better look at me which is the only reason I spotted it. I rarely see this behavior as timber rattlers would rather remain silent, still and out of sight. This one seemed to be guarding something so I took a few shots and retreated.
