"The house is in a beautiful rural location, but close to the Bergerac, the airport and ancient villages with lively markets, restaurants and vineyards to explore. The interior is well designed, very comfortable, cool and well equipped. The garden is private, has outside furniture suitable for al-fresco dining, a large lawned area, a very clean pool, a games table, and bikes. It is also possible to walk in the fields and countryside.Contacting Yves was easy and he replied promptly, with timely details to find the property and to check-in. We were met at the house by Solange and Pierre the local keepers, shown around, and given all the information we needed for our stay. We immediately felt at home and would love to return. It is even more beautiful than the photographs show!!"

Everything you need is there and the hosts and property manager were very attentive and helpful. Highly recommended to anyone wanting to explore this beautiful part of France"

"La maison, qui a du charme, se trouve sur un grand terrain sans vis à vis et au calme tout en restant proche du centre-ville d'Issigeac.Nadine et Jean-Luc sont des hôtes charmants tout en restant discrets.La maison est bien équipée (climatisation dans toutes les pièces) et la piscine bien entretenue.Nous recommandons cette location."

"We had a lovely relaxing stay at this property. Our teenage boys loved the huge pool and spent many hours fishing on the owners lake. The table tennis was lots of fun too. The bedrooms were all air conditioned making our stay even more comfortable.The hosts made us feel very welcome and were very respectful.Everything was there that you needed and very clean.Definitely visit the Sunday morning market in Issigeac and the night market on Tuesday evenings in Eymet. We enjoyed a visit to Lac de Lougratte, a big lake with a small aqua park and you can hire canoes and paddle boards for 30mins for free. I highly recommend staying at this property."

"Beautiful property in a beautiful setting. Spotlessly clean and gorgeous, all amenities you could imagine, a genuine home away from home. Communication was excellent and a translator on check in was greatly appreciated. The surrounding area is beautiful and full of activities and things to see. We would love to visit again, thank you for a wonderful holiday."

"We stayed for a month in August, very peaceful, was access by car to local baside towns, a great base to explore. Lovely gite, clean pool with lovely sun loungers. Perfect quiet place to relax and re-charge.Be mindful of mozzies and pack strong repellent, bedroom very warm overnight (but is was in the 30's during the day) Wi-fi works best on the patio not in gite, due to the stone walls.we didn't take our dog in the end, as we thought it would be too hot for him, but a great place for dogs, lots of walks locally and a large lake just down the road."

"Wonderful holiday rental. Plenty of space. A bathroom for every bedroom, which was a bonus. Vast garden with numerous activities to keep everyone entertained. The pool was a big hit. We all tried Boules for the first time and thoroughly enjoyed it. Even had a go at archery. Loved the table tennis. There is a lovely town a short distance away which is well worth a visit. The hosts were so lovely. Very friendly but respectful of our privacy, they even went above and beyond for us when the freezer broke down and had it replaced with a brand new fridge freezer the very next day. Thanks again for all the wonderful memories of our time in France."

"A gem. Nestled in the countryside near Bergerac is this beautiful country house. We were only staying for one night as part of a longer trip, but next time we will surely stay for more nights. Pauline gave us a lovely tour on check-in. The room was spotless and air conditioned. We booked into the restaurant for dinner and breakfast and it was a wonderful experience. The gardens were peaceful, with incredible views. During dinner we experienced an incredible thunderstorm, which was brilliant to watch."

"Pour une rare fois, les photos donnent un portrait qui ne rend pas tout-fait justice à l'appartement qui est vraiment agréable, bien équipé et très bien situé dans une village médiéval. Le village est vraiment agréable à marcher. Il y a un peu de touristes mais on en ressent pas vraiment la présence. Méfiez-vous des lundis car tous les commerces sont fermés ! Issigeac est un bon pied à terre pour explorer la région. Nous avons voyagé par temps de canicule; on trouve de nombreux endroits de baignade en rivière sur les bords de la Dordogne qui serpente la région. Châteaux, grottes et vignobles à profusion..."
