Hotel La Chaumiere

"We only stayed one night on our way to carcassonne from having seen chateau de peyreperteuse. The hotel was very clean and welcoming and the owner was very helpful. The town was exceptionally cute. I wish we had booked a longer stay to take better advantage of the activities the town had to offer."

"Villa Rani is a loveley spacious house very much in the quiet countryside but not far from the town of Limoux, with supermarkets, shops and restaurants. Jean-Pierre and Basanti are friendly and helpful hosts any problems easily sorted. Donazac is probably the best area for walking that we have ever been and the private swimming pool a great relief in the hot weather.Please note that the internet can be hit and miss as you are on the end of the line from the village. No bad thing when you are on holiday.We had a fabulous 2 week stay and hope to go back soon."

"I had a very good stay here. My room was very comfortable and clean with good air-con. The hotel has a nice garden with a small swimming pool, perfect on a hot afternoon. I had 2 dinners - both excellent and good value. I did however think the breakfast was rather disappointing, would have been nice to have more choice and fresh jams etc, rather than plastic pots."

Très discret et très disponible ! Merci à vous !!Nous avons passé de très bonnes vacances en famille autour de la piscine chauffée.De belles balades à pied ou en vélo.N’hésitez pas."

"Lovely shabby chic style hotel with lots of upcycled features within a renovated collection of buildings around a central courtyard. Attentive welcome from the owner and lots of nice touches, such as the gifting of a delicious homemade chocolate dessert on our final night. Makes a pleasant change from overly commercialised and formulaic hotels, where you are just part of a pipeline of guests - this feels more like staying with family or friends. Highly recommended"
