Search Farmstay in Saint-Germain-sur-Ay

"Needed a place to stay last minute as i was too tired to put up my tent on a motorcycle tour in France. I was delighted to find this accommodation, which was a nice drive both through country lanes but also accessible from the main roads. The reception staff, Fabien and Anne Lyse were very welcoming, helpful and couldnt do enough to ensure my stay was comfortable. I opted not to have breakfast, and this resulted in me having 14 hours' unplanned sleep in a very comfy bed. Coffee is on tap and there is a bar and restaurant as well as nearby supermarkets and other stores. The room was clean and had everything i needed. There is a vending machine and drinks facilities to use out of hours. Google maps didnt bring me to quite the right spot, so if that happens to you just keep heading up the hill and it is on your right. "

"Second year staying here. Lovely bright house, lots of space. Very large secure garden, perfect for our dog. Lovely patio and garden furniture so nice to relax there. Close to lots of big wild beaches (some dog friendly year round). Bakery round the corner, cafes and restaurants 10 minutes away. Hosts are very responsive to query’s. We had a problem with the internet and they contacted the provider and got it sorted very quickly… Note - bring your own towels and linen as these are not provided.. A second perfect holiday at the blue house!"

"Hotel rooms were comfortable, the window shutters are great. The restaurant serves a regional menu, including regional beers. The breakfast was the standard bread, pastries, cereal, fruits and cheese. The location was easy to find, and a great spot to stay if planning on visiting the town. The town is close enough to walk if you want alternative options for food."

"We loved staying in this old chateau. The bathroom felt dated and we had issues with a leak. "

"Great setting of the hotel, upon arrival we were given an upgrade of our room. Nice and very large on the ground floor. A somewhat dated room but nevertheless clean and lovely. Parking was easy and on the large grounds. A quiet area. For dinner we decided to walk into town a walk of about 25 minutes. To begin with it was downhill and then levelled out and then up the hill towards the church. We are older citizens and the walk was no major challenge more a lovely walk. The town has many choices for dinner and is a nice place to walk around. Overall the hotel was a very good choice. Breakfast was a nice affair."

"Excellent place for a week with the family. Facilities good. We all loved the jacuzzi. Off road parking and really convenient location for visits to the Normandy beaches, Mont St Michel, Granville etc Lovely beach and dune walks locally and reasonably close to good supermarkets. Next time we'll remember that shops have different closure times to ours. Only downside was steepness of stairs but our senior was glad of the downstairs bedoom"

"The check in/ check out procedure was made super simple but a very easy to communicate with host. Bar, restaurant, shop and fuel station are all a short walk away. Highly recommended place to stay!!"
