"Location stupenda casa molto bella. L accesso non è facile (auto a circa 200 metri e accesso in strada dissestata in forte salita). Per portare i bagagli necessario aiuto di un pickup, garantito al checkin ma non fornito al checkout, e questo è un problema. Unica nota sulla casa: il piano seminterrato, fornito di sei posti letto e un bagno, è un vero e proprio scantinato, con inevitabile umidità e la presenza di tanti ragni. Davvero difficile da abitare. Confortevole invece il piano superiore....

The information mentions two bathrooms, this is not the case it has one bathroom and a cloakroom, i.e. only one shower/bath. The bedding is of poor quality (polyester fibre), is very old and stained. The pillows are also polyester and very tired. The upstairs bed sags badly in the middle and the bed slats on the bunks are broken. Deborah was incredibly helpful in all that we needed, including running to the grocery store for us, organizing rides, booking a private chef and masseuse, and she even drove a group of our friends herself when we wanted a last minute ride and couldn’t get a taxi. "The house is at the end of a curving street up at 1400 m. The surroundings are absolutely amazing; calm, peaceful and plain nature. Monique and Michel, the landlords, are top; extremely helpful, loads of advice, knowledgeable about the region and most kind. Hiking trails start from the house. For skiing, one has to take the car down to St Gervais, which takes about 15 min. We were a group of 7 (5 adults, 2 children). The house can definitely accommodate up to 10 people. "We throughly loved our stay in the chalet. It was cleaned, fully equipt and the hot tub was such a treat after a day's skiing. It was quite cosy with two families, especially the children's bedroom, but to be honest the children really iy used the bedroom to sleep in. The location was great near enough to the slopes and the supermarket at the bottom of the mountain, the views from the bedrooms and hot tub are spectacular. We are desperate to go back and will be booking again very soon."

"We had a fantastic stay at the chalet who turned out to be exactly as described snd where we felt immediately at home. Everything is well furnished and equipped, stylishly decorated with just the right amount of touches. The chalet is spacious and everyone was happy to have his/her own room. We enjoyed the outside space equally especially the jacuzzi. I would definitely recommend other travelers to consider this beautiful chalet."

"Traditional accommodation located within a nice quiet area of St.Gervais. Nice, clean, warm & comfy. Nothing to complain about at all.15 minute walk to the centre of town so ideally you want a car. Francois was very easy to deal with & he was very welcoming when we arrived."

We had absolutely sufficient space for all of us. It is a short drive to the skiing slopes with a fantastic skiing area. We would come back to that chalet again."

"Le gîte correspond aux photos mais nous avons été surpris d'être accueillis par une boîte à clés. L'intérieur était très propre mais l'extérieur n'a été fait que le vendredi de notre 2eme semaine et la réactivité (une semaine) pour changer l'eau du spa qui n'était pas propre à notre arrivée était très décevante. Le gîte est très bien placé pour les amoureux de la rando et les navettes gratuites mises à disposition par les mairies de St Gervais et Les Contamines sont un vrai plus."

"Our very short, 2-night stay was made simple by walking access to both the ski lift and all the amenities in town. In site ski locker was a bonus! We were lucky to be there on a Thursday (market day) and unlucky that the weather was not ideal for skiing. Communication with our host was clear and timely. Check in and check out were smooth. Would highly recommend and return for a longer stay!"
