Gîte du figuier – Saint-Hilaire-de-Villefranche: Charm and Comfort in the Heart of the Village

In the heart of a Charente village, in a renovated outbuilding of a former farmhouse, we welcome you for your holidays, a weekend, or a business stay. Enjoy a large, peaceful, enclosed garden with trees, as well as a spacious covered area in front of the gîte.

The accommodation, ideal for four people, features a fully equipped kitchen (gas hob, oven, microwave, fridge-freezer, coffee maker, kettle, toaster), a living room opening onto the south-facing garden, and a small bathroom with toilet. Upstairs, there is a large main bedroom with a double bed, dressing room, and desk, plus an adjoining bedroom with two single beds.



Beds and towels can be provided on request, available for an extra charge for short stays. They are included for stays of one week or more. In winter, a contribution to heating costs may be requested.



The village offers all amenities: pharmacy, bakery, butcher, hairdressers, restaurant, pizzeria, newsagent, bank, municipal swimming pool (summer), and a 24/7 mini-market. The SNCF train station and an electric car charging station are 300 m away. Free parking is next to the property. Three pétanque courts are also available. Laundromat 3 km away.



This gîte is independent and close to the owners’ house, with a shared access courtyard. The property is fully fenced. The garden and covered area are at your disposal during your stay; we only enter for maintenance (mowing, watering, etc.).
