"We have just returned from a 2-week stay at Villa Mierlo with our two teens and were really sad to leave. It's a lovely house in a quiet hillside location with amazing views from every window (you can see the sea, the Pyranees and Spain) and a good sized pool, which we used to the full. The house is beautifully renovated, with plenty of character, all mod cons and very well equipped (lots of kitchen stuff, sun loungers, an outdoor table tennis table and a Wii with all the games). "La maison d'Hélène est très agréable avec son espace extérieur. Tout est très propre et neuf. Le logement est bien équipé (lave-linge, lave-vaisselle, produits de première nécessité...) Très pratique qu'il y ait 2 salles de bain. Très bonne communication, Hélène est à l'écoute et disponible par message. Le seul petit bémol (mais qui n'en sera plus un dans quelques mois) ce sont tous les travaux alentours. Le quartier est récent et tout en construction donc cela amène pas mal de bruits en...

The provision of a fan in the bedroom was a very welcome addition for the hot nights. It's in a very quiet location, but convenient for amenities in nearby Ceret and a wealth of walking options. Our only disappointment was that the bat roost that had been in the veranda roof had been blocked up since we were last there - on our last visit we had enjoyed sitting out...

"Incredible mountain views, lovely house, well equipped with a fab pool, we had a great holiday at Casa Vostra. Be prepared for a climb but the views are worth it, we stayed with our three children aged 11, 8 and 4 and they were in heaven in the pool, the balcony was wonderful for evening drinks and the lower area with table/plancha was magical for dinner- the views were breath taking. Air conditioning in bedrooms was a blessing during a very hot spell. The shared pool in the Domaine was fun too...

"This is a beautiful home with stunning views of the Alberes. A short walk into town where there are a handful of restaurants and a short drive ro the supermarket. Michel and Marianne live close by and were super helpful. The property is immaculately clean, with a great patio area and pool. The only thing to note is two toilets for eight guests - the en suites are shower and sink only. There are extra charges for end of stay clean and towel provision which are not included in the base...

"We had a really wonderful stay. We found the house extremely comfortable with everything we needed provided. It was a luxury to stay somewhere that felt like a real home and with a large sitting room. There was just 4 of us but you could comfortably sleep 8 if couples/family in the 4 bedrooms. We didn't actually use one bedroom which is self contained on the ground floor with its own bathroom. The outdoor space is really beautiful - you can breakfast on the front porch with the morning sun,...

"We had a great time in the villa. Steve is the very best and treated us with the greatest of respect and kindness. Our holiday had been interrupted with a vehicle breakdown and Steve made up for us and our six kids to get our holiday back on track. The villa is in a great location for everything."

"Villa dans un lotissement très calme avec toutes de commodités pour le séjour, beaucoup d'ustensiles dans la cuisine même pour notre chien tapis jouets et gamelles c'était la première fois que nous voyons cela. La petite ville de Sorède est agréable avec sa place et Argelès sur mer est très proche. Le jardin de la villa est tres spacieux et la voiture se gare dans le terrain. A ne pas râté Collioure, Castelnou, Argelès, st Cyprien etc etc."

The property is in a well elevated position and up a small road but easy to find and greeted by your charming hosts Elisabeth and Pierre. There are shops nearby but not close enough to walk to but that was not a problem for us."

La anfitriona fue muy amable e incluso nos trajo tomates y pepinos frescos de su jardín. Antes de irnos, recorrió el resto de la enorme casa que también se puede alquilar. Es un hermoso espacio, ideal para una gran fiesta. ¡Definitivamente regresaré!"

"A lovely little apartment with a beautiful pool in a rural location. The nearby town of Garriguella has a couple of restaurants, shops, a pharmacy, a bar and a wonderful cooperative serving great food too. Easy drives down to the coast and to the mountains make this a super location."
