"The pictures for this property are very misleading. The place is very outdated and there’s a horrible smell that comes from the shower. On day of checkin I was sent an email outside of the hotels.com site asking for a deposit even though my booking was paid up front. It was a little bit sketchy. "The location of the apartment is excellent in walking distance to many sights and restaurants. The apartment would have been rated higher but several things were disappointing. We had no hot water for the duration of our stay and no attempts made to fix it. The refrigerator had no freezer. There were no starter coffee pods, dish soap, hand soap, paper towels, kitchen sponge. All of these are correctable and would have made our stay more enjoyable."

"We stayed one night to be close to the train station to depart early the next morning. The apartment was clean, ground floor, had all the basics, bed was comfortable, and the apartment is in a lovely neighborhood. The owner was so helpful with check-in, having provided a very detailed explanation and pictures of the process to access the apartment. It’s not fancy, but you’ll be out and about all day so for a stay in this area I can recommend it. "
