"Lovely old hotel. Great position overlooking the sea and seawater lido. Bus stop very close - Jersey bus service is great The hotel has been renovated to a high standard. Our room (basic level) was a bit quirky, but enough space and storage for a week The restaurant is excellent and in fact we dined in every evening apart from one, when we went to a nearby Greek restaurant which again was excellent Breakfast was very good Staff very efficient and had time to be friendly - thank you to the management We were very happy with our choice of accommodation"

"Lovely breakfast very good choice and no problem if you wanted porridge or scrambled eggs . Room good size overlooking the pool. Very clean and fresh towels every day. A nice stroll maybe 10 minutes into the centre of the town. Staff were very friendly and helpful.Would definitely return if we decide to go back to Jersey"

"We stayed 5 days in the suite at the Merton Hotel. What a fabulous stay we’ve had. The staff were fabulous as was the food. Everyone was friendly, helpful and happy throughout our stay. The room was fabulous too with a lovely balcony overlooking the bay. Thank you"

"Hotel was immaculately clean, staff were super friendly, delicious breakfast and a good choice of evening meals. Lovely gardens, with a brilliant swimming pool and hot tub. Films and entertainment in the evenings. Although out of town, the courtesy bus and public buses were close and frequent. Really enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend the hotel."

"Sheets and towels were a bit stained and the bed and pillow were hard and not very comfortable. But the building is beautiful and located just a 15minute walk out the of the main area. We enjoyed our stay overall."
