The house is close to Saumur which is lovely and has lots to see and do, including nice restaurants and is well located for visiting some famous historical sites like Chinon and Fontavraud Abbey. a very relaxing break."

Unfortunately the patio area is open nd shared with 3 properties. This meant there is no enclosed place for pets and not suitable. We had a barricade a safe area for our dogs and could not leave then unless inside which was very hot with the doors closed. The pool was also not clean on arrival, or cleaned during our stay. There were very limited eateries & all are a good walk or ride away. The property was clean & it was nice to have bikes available complimentary."
