Very beautiful secluded getaway in the hills

The house is located in a very special place: on a hill in the midst of the beautiful green environment in the Ardèche. Guests have all the privacy they wish for and a beautiful view from the cosy terrace. To get to a nearby town is a 30 min drive through this mesmerizing landscape.

Un cadre dépaysant et reposant

Nous sommes ravis de ce séjour d'une semaine qui nous a permis de faire une vraie coupure, loin de l'agitation urbaine! Le cadre est bucolique et les cigales nous accompagnaient. de très beaux lieux de baignade dans la rivière a proximité, eaux fraîches et très claires. Prévoir le minimum à porter jusqu'au gîte, pour la descente inhabituelle mais qui garde en forme!! Le gîte est loin des commerces, il faut prévoir le minimum nécessaire, ou profiter du marché de St melany dimanche matin!

Wir hatten eine wunderbare Woche in diesem sehr gemütlichen Häuschen. Alles, was man braucht ist vorhanden, die Gastgeber sind sehr hilfsbereit und freundlich. Absolute Alleinlage und Ruhe, die Umgebung ist traumhaft. Bitte daran denken, der nächste Supermarkt ist weit und es empfiehlt sich, den ersten Einkauf unterwegs zu erledigen.

Ruhe und Kultur

Sehr heimelige Hütte, versteckt in den Bergen der Ardeche. Trotzdem nahe an einem netten kleinen Restaurant / Bar und an einem Kunst-Wanderweg gelegen. Auf den Märkten in St Melany und den umliegenden Orten kann man sich mit sehr guten lokalen Produkten versorgen. Cecile ist eine sehr nette, zuvorkommende Vermieterin. Vielen Dank.

Très bon accueil de la part de la propriétaire ,au petit soin à notre arrivée. La maison est un havre de paix en pleine nature.Calme absolu. Rien de tel pour se ressourcer. Très bien équipée, vous y trouverez tout ce dont vous aurez besoin lors de votre séjour. (Attention si vous avez des soucis de santé physique, l'accès se fait par un escalier de pierres un peu raide par endroit). Si vous êtes comme nous, amoureux de la nature, foncez.

Inspirational!

Fantastic hostess. She even carried our luggage down the very steep path to the converted barn. We’re both strong and fit, but you shouldn’t go there if you can’t climb! Certainly very peaceful. Lovely area and village. Groceries about 40 minutes drive away along a winding mountain road so go well stocked. We enjoyed our stay and the local restaurant is excellent.

Gîte calme et reposant

Nous avons passé un très agréable séjour dans la bergerie. Nous avons eu un très bon accueil de Mme Lombardot. Ce gîte est loin de toutes agitations, dans une très belle vallée. Randonnées et baignades dans la rivière à proximité, les enfants ont appréciés.

Hotes trés sympathiques bel acceuil maison trés belle et adaptée une veritable coupure dans la nature qui fait son effet seul bémol par contre il est préférable de préciser qu'il y a plusieurs restanques a descendre avec escalier en pierre avant d'acceder à la propriété pour une personne ayant des problemes de mobilité ou souci de santé. Nous aurions préféré être prevenus.

Un endroit plein de charme pour amoureux de la nature.

Nous avons passé d’excellentes vacances dans cette ancienne bergerie à Saint Mélany. Tout est présent pour se laisser aller à la rêvasserie et au plaisir de se retrouver au plus près de la nature. Roger et Cécile nous ont très bien accueillis et nous ont fait nous sentir comme chez nous. Nous y retournerons!
