"Lovely historic building and grounds in a peaceful location. The restaurant food is excellent and very good value for money. The tudor main hall with a gallery is very impressive. The staff were professional and accommodating. The only thing I found a little odd is the bedroom and corridor decor which isn't in keeping with the rest of the building and in need of some refurbishment especially the carpet. However this would not stop me returning or recommending this hotel. "

"This place is disgusting and we want a refund,black mold on the walls,filthy carpets and walls,bare wires everywere,everything is the cheapest of the cheap, dog hsirs everywere of their dog,refuse,faeces and every other kind of waste strewn around the property..it shoukd be knocked down its that bad "

"The hosts was welcoming and professional. Nothing was too much trouble. We was allowed to leave our bags beginning and end of our stay so we could enjoy our holiday without carting around bags. The rooms was very tidy and you wouldn’t think pets stay there too! It’s a lovely place to stay and I would definetely return again. Thankyou x"
