"This is an annexe that has the owners stamp on it and is all the better for it. As a bijou gite for 1 or 2 people it’s ideal. Albas is a fabulous location with easy access to the river, cycle routes and the vineyards. The whole area is utterly gorgeous! The sheltered terrace is lovely private space and you get a real sense of being part of the village. "Very private and relaxing stay the Pictures of the terrace do not do it justice and we had fantastic weather and so made the most of the pool which is in the sun all day. We would definitely return again the only thing I would mention is the bedding and mattresses could do with an update. Thanks for your hospitality!"

"This spacious property was a converted old French farmhouse with fantastic views across the countryside. Very rural -but not easy to find even with Sat-nav. Pool was a great asset as were the trees and flowers around the property. Unfortunately we were not blessed with good weather apart from the first couple of days. "Slept so well in this quiet retreat in older part of town. On warmer days feel like sitting outside with the large sliding door open. Apartment appointed with anything you might need. Nearby pharmacy, bank, Casino and cafe and brasserie and restaurants within 1 km walk. Good takeaway kebab just steps out the door. Lovely market and easy town to use as base for visiting Lot and Cele area with many medieval towns, Peche Merle, etc. Would stay afain anytime back in this area."

"Un séjour très, très agréable. La maison est parfaite, très propre et bien équipée. Elle est de plus très bien décorée. Une fois les valises défaites, on se sent comme à la maison. Nos hôtes sont parfaitement discrets mais présents si le besoin se fait sentir. Ils nous ont donnés de précieux conseils de visites, gastronomiques et/ou touristiques. Nous avons adorés. "Sylvaine and Patrick were generous and helpful hosts, Patrick helping me with a puncture and Sylvaine giving us home-made jam, garden tomatoes and eggs from her own chickens. During a heatwave, the interior was always cool and the pool was large, clean and indispensable after a day of adventures. It’s hard to imagine a lovelier gîte, or nicer people."
