"Breakfast was good, but not as great as at some other places we stayed in France. Parking was easy but required advance reservation. Easy walking to everywhere from the hotel. We had a large suite on the top floor, which did require one final set of stairs after the elevator. Very comfortable bed, and quiet enough at night. Would stay here again. Saumur itself was also wonderful."

"Studio has everything you need for a self-sufficient stay. Loved eating outside on our private terrace. Is mostly renovated with a few dated fixtures. Good but firm bed."

"Excellent location in the heart of the city. Close to main shops bars and restaurants. Castle just 10min walk away. Didn’t tell you these apartments are in an OLD FOLKS HOME! Just a surprise!😂 Apartment spacious clean quiet well equipped. Central air con. Excellent secure plentiful underground car parking for €10 a night"

"Good location (very close to the train station and downtown) and relatively quiet for being located on a major road at a major intersection. The building is nice, solidly constructed with spacious rooms and high ceilings. The room needs some updating in terms of decor and there are little touches that show a lack of very careful attention to maintenance (curtains that aren’t attached completely at the top of the window, dead mosquitoes on the sheer curtains). A little more careful attention to these details would go a long way to improving the first impression. That said, the room was spacious (a corner room -05) and the bed was very comfortable. The staff were welcoming and pleasant. All in all, I recommend this hotel and would stay again on another visit to the Saumur area."

"Nous avons passé un agréable weekend dans le gite à l'occasion d'une réunion de famille. Les multiples chambres ont permis de loger tout le monde et les différentes pièces (bar, salle, veranda, terrasse) ont permis aux petits et aux grands d'avoir des espaces de jeu et activités sans se gêner les uns les autres. La grande salle nous a permis de manger à 26 confortablement. Le site contient un grand extérieur boisé qui a fait le bonheur des enfants, ainsi qu'un accès direct à une base de loisir.Notre séjour s'est déroulé juste après un changement de propriétaire et des travaux rendant certaines prestations momentanément indisponibles. Notre hôte s'est montré accueillant et disponible afin de trouver des solutions. Tous les invités gardent un bon souvenir de ce week end !"

"Large and clean rooms. Not all rooms have an AC. Problem with breakfast - we came at 9:15 and were told that the eggs run out. Pastries were cold and the variety is poor."
