"Ok but expensive for what you get"

"Convenient stop very friendly staff"

"Great place for an overnight stop. Cheap and cheerful "

"Lovely hotel, would definitely stay again, lovely breakfast and excellent location"

"Great breakfast, well places, close enough to the city but not too close and on-site parking"

"Great stay"

"I have stayed in a lot of Chateaus- turned-hotels over my years of travel, so I think I can rave about this stay with credibility. It was a 10 out of 10. I loved the period architecture, the period fixtures, carvings, the 20’ ceilings, the paneled walls and matching room decor, and the thoughtful little things like the gourmet tea sachets, Nespresso/machine, and a shoe horn in the closet."

"Beautiful old Chateaux, like stepping back in time, comfortable and easy. If you want modern expecations, stay in a Mercure."

"We had an excellent stay in one of the Luxe rooms. Very spacious, comfortable and quiet. The breakfast buffet was very good."

"Great value, amazing views. Nice friendly staff."

"Loved this hotel! The furnishings were so well done. Bathroom was functional and modern. Had à great cooling system you control individually for your room. Very clean and classy."

"Studio has everything you need for a self-sufficient stay. Loved eating outside on our private terrace. Is mostly renovated with a few dated fixtures. Good but firm bed."

"The staff were so very obliging and helpful loved the Hotel. Well worth the money will stay the next time I am in Saumur"

"We had great service, and a good breakfast."

"Great location, view of the river, spacious room"

"Great stay - the proprietor was extremely helpful . These people know how to run a hotel. Meticulous eye for detail and everything was very easy. Storage and charging for our bikes in their garage and ice cold water to get us thru the hot weather. Room was in very good condition and all amenities were working and functioning."

"The staff were nice! But we had to pay 20 euros for sheets and towels as they were not included with the room. This was not stated until after the booking was made. Also the beds were basically just sofas, not very comfortable. Cheap just for a night to sleep but I would not stay there for more than a night."

"Very helpful staff on reception!"

"Pleasant place with excellent staff and great location!!"

"It’s ok but I wouldn’t stay again. Poor breakfast. Great location and it was clean. No air conditioning and stairs difficult to climb. Staff was less accommodating than most."
