"This was a hugely disappointing stay. We had spent two nights on the other side of the river on our way down through France and had hoped for better things. Our experience was that we were 'end of season', that staff had lost interest in their guests. We had a very matter of fact welcome and from then on may as well not have been in the hotel. "Great property, in the center of a small medieval town with a great terrace overlooking the river and the castle. Hotel rooms are comfortable and quiet. Breakfast and brunch are great and food is of good quality. People are friendly They seemed to be a little understaffed one evening at the restaurant/bar but all was overall great!"
