"Thoroughly well equipped two bedroom apartment, which was very easy to live in. We loved the location, right amongst the Bordeaux wine region and only 20 minutes drive to Bordeaux. The hosts are absolutely lovely and welcomed us and helped us out in so many ways. We also really loved using the bikes to tour the country lanes. We can recommend the Sunday oysters at Moulon and the poissonerie at Branne. Also loved Chai Leon art deco wine bar ( Michel is a fabulous host and recommends fab wines)...

The peace and tranquility of the setting is delightful, with all you need for your stay in the two-storey farmhouse. Access to the many good restaurants and historic monuments in St Emilion made this 5-day stay one of our highlights."

"This very clean and comfortable cottage is in the country a short drive from Sainte Emilion. Quiet, pastoral setting. It was out base for drives in the area and for a relaxing time at the end of the day. We opted for the breakfast which was very reasonable and delish - yougurt, fruit, pastries, juice and coffee. The hosts are very welcoming and helpful. The furnishings were modern and comfortable. Everything we needed for a very enjoyable stay."

They went above and beyond to ensure we had everything setup for our infant son, gave many great local recommendations and lead us through a wine tasting. "Extremely well equipped to a high standard. We were welcomed with essential groceries, a bottle of wine and a speciality dessert of the region. Patrick was available if we needed him and managed the pool/cover. He was private and discreet. We have stayed in gites many times and this was one of the best with a great pool."

The location is a bit removed from Saint Emillion so you need to determine where you want to be and how much driving you want to do when visiting this region."
