"Passage 1 nuit, excellent acceuil!"

"We enjoyed our stay in this lovely little property. It is peaceful, except unfortunately the neighbour chose to build a new drive, which took a week and a half to finish with diggers and lorries working all day. But, we were out everyday so it didn’t really matter too much. Everything in the Gite was spotless, we had everything we wanted. Not far from the beach.Veillon Plage is beautiful and has 3 bars If you are fit and heathy it is walkable or a cyclist I think would do it in half an hour....

"Sweet property about 1km from town which has a fabulous market and good beach. The property had adequate facilities just need to be aware that the bedroom is across a gravel path from the living space and loo."

"Le gîte est une grande maison campagnarde au calme avec un très grand jardin. Nous avons passé un séjour très agréable à 2 familles (11 personnes) sans avoir l’impression d’être « les uns sur les autres », ce qui était précieux. Ce gîte de campagne a aussi les défauts de ses qualités (mobilier un peu ancien, débit de l’eau limité quand les 3 douches fonctionnent en même temps), mais il a un indéniable cachet que nous avons beaucoup apprécié."

"The property was just what we wanted as a base in La Flotte to discover Ile de Re. It was clean, quiet and in easy reach of the town and harbour. Most other villages were easily reached on cycles hired from our excellent host Jean Michel. Merci beaucoup!!"

"There were 12 of us in total for our stay, adults and young children. Emeline managed to find 3 cots, highchairs/booster seats and baby baths for us which really helped with our young children. We had a lovely time at the house Frederick and Emeline were very friendly and helpful, they live on site but they are not intrusive. Although our group was split over 2 different houses the outside table was large enough for us all to eat together. The best thing was the pool area which was fantastic...

"The property is well fitted out and has everything one needs for a trouble free and relaxing holiday. I surrounded by farms and hence is peaceful and very quiet at night. Getting bread for breakfast did involve using my car to cover the 2 miles or so to the village. Jard sur Mar is only about 10 miles away and is a lovely seaside town with a fine harbour and is well worth a visit, as are the other towns and villages in the region. I will definitely consider returning in the future."

"Well presented property, conveniently located for the town and the bus from the airport. If I have one suggestion, it would be to include some kitchen basics - bin liners, washing up liquid and a couple cloths. These have all been at other similar properties. Other than that everything was very good."

"We had a wonderful 2 week stay here. The cottage is very spacious and beautifully decorated. It has everything you could need. The pool is fabulous - much bigger than we expected and very clean. Sabine and her family were great - on hand if you needed anything, and very friendly, but otherwise we didn’t really see them at all. A great base for exploring the Vendee (especially its beaches). Would definitely recommend!"

"Our gite was compact and cosy, but with a lovely walk in shower, well stocked and well located. Quiet and friendly site with shared swimming pool, also close to the fine beaches. Our hosts were very accommodating even treating all the guests to hors d’oeuvres and drinks one evening."
