It is within 10 minutes walking distance through a shady lane to the centre of the village and there is also a small supermarket and petrol station within 3 minutes drive. "This charming stone farmhouse in the quiet area of Eglise-Neuve-de-Vergt in the Dordogne is an absolute joy to stay at. It is so much more than just an ordinary gite. Located just off a little lane about a hundred metres away from the local road. It is very well equipped and the rooms are quite large, spacious and comfortable. "After reading the reviews we decided to take a punt and book the holiday. I’m so glad we did! All the reviews (good and bad) are spot on. The property is ‘rustic’. There are no frills but the layout of the house was perfect for 2 families and it is spotlessly clean and well equipped with everything you need. We all forgot towels and Lucie was at the door before I had even signed off. "

"Lovely little gite with a fantastic pool and outside area. We stayed for 2 weeks.l (family of 4 and dog) and really enjoyed it. Sarlat is a great town to visit and the gite is located well for walking into town and getting out and about."

"We were a bit late and tired when we arrived, but was made to feel welcome at reception. The room is perfect. Nice and clean. A good size for 2 and thr bed is nice and comfy. All good in all aspects. "
