"A very tranquil location, away from the crowds but within east reach of beautiful towns & great restaurants. A good sized swimming pool & area for lounging in the sun kept both parents & teenagers happy, The owners were also very kind, particularly when our delayed flight meant we arrived after midnight!"

"We have stayed in a number of Gites in the Dordogne for a number of years now but this one is by far the best place we’ve stayed in. The location being 10 minutes drive to Bergerac airport and within easy access to the Bastide towns makes it an ideal base to explore the area. The property has everything you need and the manager, Chrystelle was so helpful and nothing was too much trouble. We would definitely return to Fontoursine again in future"

"Beautiful property and ideal for a family or a group of friends. Very peaceful and the location is great for exploring the region. Pool is a nice edition and the outside eating areas are a good size. The hosts are fantastic and will help with any queries you have and give plenty of advice regarding things to see and do. "Lovely cosy farmhouse in a great location. Hot tub was a bonus. Perfect for up to 4 people, but anymore may be a tight fit if weather not good and you were not able to use the outside space. Thoroughly enjoyed our time at Saint Avit Senieur. Would recommend."

"We have had a disappointing experience with this vacation rental. All four of us have suffered from bed bugs. We initially thought we were dealing with mosquitoes. But the bites got so big and painful that it wasn't until later that we realized we were dealing with bed bugs. We complained about this to the landlord afterwards and it seemed only reasonable to us that they would refund half as our holiday enjoyment was seriously ruined. We have not received any response from the landlords."
