"Nice hotel, breakfast was really good. No actual beach and very remote. Pool was quite crowded especially as no beach. Late check in was annoying and the dogs and children were hot sat around waiting when it was 37 degrees outside. Staff were okay but not as helpful as you’d expect for the price."

"We stayed at the residence for 3 weeks, the staff and the director were very helpful, We are elderly, some of the rooms do not consider this, and this should in my opinion be made available. Hotels.com was useless in resolving our issue, spoke to a supervisor who was useless. plenty to say but did not resolve our problem. my wife and I resolved it by communicating with the directors, who then understood our issue and quickly resolved it. One important issue, the fire alarm was activated one evening around 2230 hrs, there was no emergency evacuation procedure, and this should be resolved, with clear instructions on all accommodation doors, with a larger noticeable procedure in the main reception area. John & Mary"

"The apartment was very good value for money. Good soundproofing, adequately equipped kitchenette, comfortable beds, sufficient linen/towels/furniture. Pleasant balcony. Well-maintained pool and breakfast area. Reception staff friendly and helpful. Very convenient for the port of La Rochelle, with Carrefour supermarket and many restaurants. The apartments are a couple of streets away from the port and the railway station - quiet but convenient."
