Good 2* hotel in Saintes

Basic hotel with good value and location in Saintes. Clean room and good beds. The owner is very friendly and wants to provide a good service.

Parking was the reason to choose the hotel. Couldn’t access before it opened at 3pm. Air Con gauge didn’t go below 24C. WiFi just didn’t work at all in our room. No gluten-free option for breakfast…so didn’t have Bfast.

Good location only if you are using the train. Otherwise, too far from the nice part of town. The hotel is seedy at best.
