"What a gem of a find, we stayed for one night whilst travelling from England to Spain. We was warmly greeted on arrival and went straight into the pool after a very long day. The host then prepared a fantastic 3 course home cooked meal with wine. Room was spacious, clean and bed comfy, with a wonderful views over the vineyards. In the morning a lovely prepared breakfast outside and the friendly hosts couldnât be more accommodating. We will 100% be returning each year as we travel to Spain, thank...

"Really nice hotel, very convenient location.
The downside is breakfast, the amounts served are really poor (ham/cheese look more like nibbles), no good value for money in my view."
"Very lovely location within the medieval city. Large room that probably could do with some refurbishment, as in other areas of the hotel. Staff were generally good but ordered a cab to the train station and the receptionist ordered it from the station to the hotel instead. If not for the cab driver making contact we would have missed our connecting train. "
"The hotel is a lovely setting and the main hotel appears to be excellent, resident cat that was the highlight of the stay and lovely dog, grounds are beautiful and lovely coffee. I would stay again with amendments; A few things holding the hotel back- rooms in a building a room over, clearly from hotels success but need work. No kettle/coffee or cups, but instead singular can of fancy water which was not replenished. Spa was a surcharge in 30 min blocks and not advertised as such and pool was closed but not advertised. It's not suitable for elder guests, as no lift and one elderly person in our ground fell down the stairs which are dark and not easy to see. "
"Great hotel and staff but just a little let down by the cleaning of the room. Felt like it had been a bit rushed, water not replaced properly, some little bits of tissue etc on the floor. Nothing worth bothering the hotel about but could have been sharper. Slightly disappointed as they have a âhappy hourâ that is 50% off the second drink, I worked it out eventually but too late for getting the benefit and other English speakers didnât get it either (my French is ok but missed the explanation on the poster). I do think staff could have explained a little.
Good modern hotel and great for the castle. "
"I have a wonder stay. Staff is very nice and helpful. This is in a senior home. Staff might need to assist them first. Other than that, it's not different than an apartment hotel. I will definitely stay again.
The hotel is very quiet. Room is clean and big. Kitchen has all the cooking equipment and dishes. Instruction is very clear.
Location is great. Just 5-10 minutes walk to the castle. Plenty of restaurants about 2 blocks away. I walked up to the castle twice (one in the afternoon and one in the evening). It's beautiful and quick. I couldn't find a grocery shop nearby. You might want to pick up the grocery in the old town before heading to the hotel."
"A room w a view (14) and twin beds loads of space custom Velvet curtains matching chair and blanket really elegant. Nespresso coffee machine and liquid creamers nice touch. Bath tub was welcome site w my recent fall and shower w rain and hand held also. Hot strong water plush towels. 5 * place. But the managing couple made my 2 nights w their care attention to my sudden immobility and knee injury. Even the stairs were doable but they offered to change me to downstairs from. Breakfast included boiled eggs meat cheese etc well worth the 13E. Be back for sure. "
