The property is gorgeous, high end, very comfortable, and clean. We felt like welcomed family. The bed and pillows were great. The air conditioning was perfect. There are B&Bs you stay in that feel very corporate and then there are places like this one. It is family owned and operated, and the owners make you feel like family while you are there. They and their two daughters were happy to show you the property they renovated during Covid and worked so hard to turn into a beautiful little part of France. The location is convenient to Carcassonne and there are dining options there. This is located in the country so you'll need to travel into the city...

The hotel is just about 10 min drive from the city castle.

Iris and BJ were wonderful hosts. In advance of our visit we communicated about our diet (vegan family) and they were able to provide us a nice breakfast every morning. We visited the area during warm weather and the swimming pool ended up being a refreshing part of our stay during the late afternoon hours.
