"Old Hotel, 70s and not renovated, low price has a reason. The onsen in pictures and pool were dirty green algae water! Breakfast was standard Japanese Parking on premises available Location not central and hard to reach near the port."

"Staff were really excellent - super helpful. Location was a bit outside of the main city centre but the hotel runs free shuttles to/from the city centre on an hourly bases. There is car parking available for a fee. Hotel and room looks a bit dated but has a great view of Sakurajima. Onsen is smaller than what can be seen in the pictures - view of Sakurajima from the bath is unfortunately blocked for privacy reasons. "

"A very simple hotel that focuses on doing a few things well. Its close proximity to Kagoshima station is perfect for anyone sightseeing the area. My room gave a beautiful view of Kagoshima station and the vibrant Ferris wheel."
