"This is an historic and beautiful property, and ideal for a family group. The swimming pool is excellent and very secure. The area is quiet and peaceful and lends itself to a safe and relaxing holiday. The hosts are very accommodating and to have a local point of contact was very helpful. La maison est fournie et l’hôtesse / monsieur sont sympathiques malgré le fait que nous parlons peu français, mais pas de problème avec Google Translate :-). Emplacement joliment décoré pour 1 nuit ou comme nous pour 2 semaines. Prima plek om te verblijven om de Loire omgeving te verkennen. Dierentuin, kastelen, shoppen in Orleans. Of voor 1 nacht richting het zuiden."

"La maison est très bien située pour les visites de plusieurs châteaux (Chambord, Cheverny et Blois par exemple). Elle est proche de la jolie ville de Dhuizon (moins de 10mn à pied du centre ville) qui propose une super épicerie avec des produits locaux de qualité et un super restaurant pour manger "Comme à la maison". La maison est vaste et propre avec de nombreuses chambres. Les équipements intérieurs sont suffisants et adaptés. Le jardin est un poil petit et mériterait quelques équipements...

"This really is rural. It is in the middle of a forest down an unmade road 2 km to nearest village. It is a beautiful location. Host are generous and welcoming. We heard so many birds including owls and saw bats, and deer locally whilst visiting. The pool was a treat in the hot weather ( unheated for the strong hearted!) Situated in a lovely garden. Things that were relevant, are that you access only shower room and the toilet through other bedrooms or outside which may not always be...

"The property met our needs, but there were some things that could have been better. On the upside, because we had young children along, the pool was a bonus. The donkeys, goats, chickens, and roosters were enchanting. On the downside, if someone wants to be close to the surrounding cities (Tours/Amboise) with pubs and restaurants, this is not the place. Also, the place needs some TLC and a good scrubbing."

"Belle région, gîte entouré de forêts,calme. Passage de chevreuils tout à côté du gîte chaque soir. Nous avons séjourné au cours des vacances scolaires afin de passer NOEL chez une nièce habitant la région. Gîte bien aménagé, dommage la propreté des lieux n'était pas à la hauteur."

"Un vaste terrain avec une grande terrasse style guinguette au top pour profiter du jardin. Un bain nordique très agréable entouré par la nature. Un BBQ de compétition avec un super espace pour prendre l’apéro sur des rondins de bois à côté du BBQ. Beaucoup de place dans la jardin, filet de volley…etc. Gros plus du gîte, chaque chambre a sa salle de bain et des wc !"

"We were looking for a quiet country break and that’s exactly what we got! The gite was well equipped, clean and spacious. It was also in a part of France which we had only ever driven through so it was lovely to spend a week there. I would highly recommend this holiday gite."

"A spacious base with a large garden that is not overlooked. Shade available in the garden and a choice of seating areas. The weather was hot when we were staying but we were able to close shutters and sleep in the downstairs bedroom which made it cool enough. Well equipped kitchen and very good oven and hob. Two tables were useful. TV/DVD flyer were easy to work after we had bern shown and excellent WiFi connection. Lots to visit in the area and we used the leaflets on local walks. A short walk...
