"I had a lovely room, I was surprised breakfast wasn’t included/offered. Staff were friendly but I couldn’t get internet which may have been just me. I was on my own and wanted to plan my next day, couldn’t even get 4G. Not even in the bar. Young lady said it was a bad area??!! Plenty parking and lots of people eating so food must be good. I just had (a very small) portion of chips. "

"Fabulous location on the edge of Sidmouth and easy walk to Byes. Property quaint but a little dated. Ideally would have new bathroom more outside space and less clutter. Didn’t see hosts but lovely welcome pack and lots of useful notes/ info on house and area. Would definitely stay again."

"Excellent location close to the Byes which are lovely. The house is nice and well equipped and good value. As others have described parking is a nightmare, total luck if you get a spot and if you don't, then expect at least 5 minutes walk from the next nearest option. Nothing the owners can do about this but be aware. What is less clear from the description is that the garden is not directly accessed from the back door. There is a shared pathway directly outside the back door and the garden is a few yards to the right, so if you have a dog you cannot just let it out."

"Parking was good, easy 5 minute walk into town. The staff were very freindly and the breakfasts were great and plenty of choice.Would recommend a stay at this hotel."
