Pleasant Stay

Overall good stay with 3 familys with childrens . break fact so good lot of varieties . Receptionist Deepa very friendly and kind staffs are good. food cost is so high so we gone for out side.. The view of sterling you never get any were its so beautiful .

Georgeous view

The strength of this property is itā€™s gorgeous background. The hotel overllooks a beautiful valley- a sight to behold. Staff, service, food and cleanliness need improvement. It is not senior-friendly. Neither is it good for guests with a disability.

Generally OKay, but not very happy.

Didnt get a room with a view to the valley. Booking via Hotels.com for a Sterling Holiday Resort room perhaps was a not great idea because of this. Staff are pleasant but said they didn't have rooms which we desired.

Not worth at rock perch...just a good view..nothin

We had heard a lot of things about this place..but overall it's disappointing ...besides the view there is nothing much.,, The staff is less and food quality Is ordinary... Only a few people are hardworking and noticeable all from Manipur...

Excellent place and great service...the only minus point is that this place is not children friendly as there are no safety measures , either inside the suite or in the entire resort...this seriously needs to be looked into...

Views from suites are awesome

I am not sure if hotels.com screwed up our booking or sterling but the initial check in was a pain after having driven 600kms to hear that we didn't have a room there when we had a confirmed booking. We waited for 45 Mts trying to reach hotels.com and getting then to talk to sterling. The manager was helpful but operations can be wayyyyyyy better. And again, while checking out there was a charge for 300 rs added on our bill which we were about to ignore and pay. When I cazually asked them as to what that was they were like oops... That was supposed to be added to the neighbouring room!!!! And again we are sorry blah blah. Sterling as a property is good esp the suites where we stayed , amazing views , we didn't eat the food there as it was too crowded. But their operations suck !

Family Visit to Yercaud

Overall a satisfying exerience. Pros: 1. Excellant Location & View 2. Nice helpful staff 3. Nice Activity area for kids & adults. 4. Room booked had good arrangment. Cons: 1. Food Vareity in buffet can be improved. 2. Ala-carte options are bit costlier.

Horrible Experience

Despite booking the rooms through Expedia, we were not allotted rooms and were forced to search for different accommodation. There is an inefficient idiot sitting at central reservation office who screwed up the entire process and had a terrible experience with both Expedia and Sterling. I will never venture booking with Expedia again.

We stayed in Sterling Resorts for 4 days from 1st Feb. Hotel location is very good. Rooms were clean , staff very polite, on the whole we enjoyed our stay there

Likes: 1) Beautiful breath taking views of the valley 2) Food 3) Service. 4) Hotel Exterior. Dislikes: 1) Access road to hotel - pathetic. You will literally feel lost on the road as there is no sign board giving directions. 2) Room interior not worth the money 3) Bathroom condition not up to the mark. 4) Car Parking facility not good. Whoever hits the lot first gets to park. Verdict: Not a great value for the money. Room resembled a town lodge.

Yercaud hotel - Pricey but nice location

Overall good location, but service is very poor, food is average and not much around for food and stuff. Property is old and not for people who have trouble climbing the stairs as everything including rooms, restaurants etc. have a climb of at least 20-30 flights.

Awesome location

If you are going to Yercaud, there is only place to be in. Sterling resorts! None match the views Sterling has to offer. Amazing resort. But, the resort is quite old. The rooms are not up to modern standards. They are not maintained clean. Common areas are disgustingly dirty. Food is good, not very expensive. There are a number of things to do within the resort. In fact, I went there for a couple of days, and didn't leave the resort for the most part. You have a lady's seat view point and a rose garden next to the resort, we went by walk.
