I would highly recommend the Holiday Guesthouse. The host Angela was very friendly and helpful. She made you feel that you were a guest in her own home. Breakfast was excellent, Every morning she made your coffee and eggs to order. She provided fresh fruit, juices, Italian pastries and even home baked goods. The rooms were comfy and quiet. The location was close to the Main Street and an easy walk to the train station.

Angela the hostess was amazing! Amazing breakfast in the morning!!!!! Rooms were clean and beds were comfy. Cold beers in the mini fridge!!!! Walking distance to ferry and main strip in town. A great base for hopping along the Amalfi coast. Easy ferry to Amalfi and Positano!! Took a day boat trip right out of Salerno.

Everything was perfect, will definitely return in the future! 1000/10 Angela is the best. She made us feel like family and went out of her way to take care of us. She was very kind and made us an amazing breakfast every morning! No where else can you get amazing service like this hotel and by the best stay of our trip. Room was very clean, spacious, and great AC for the heat wave. Samsung TV that had netflix which was nice as most other hotels just had local channels. Had everything that we needed and more

Perfect place to stay, Angela is an exceptional hostess and excellent person, always aware that everything is in order and that one feels comfortable all the time. Great breakfast - love the fried eggs and croissants, they are so fresh. Angela gave me lots of useful travel tips - on how to take buses and trains to Pompeii and Herculaneum, where to go for dinner and where the local market is. Also took two day trips to the Amalfi coast, all the way to Amalfi. There are some great restaurants and delis nearby, it's comforting to have some deli food and fresh veggies and fruit after a long day of sight seeing.

What can you say about this B&B. It is close to everything, 10 minutes from the train, 1 minute from the bus. There is good food all around, as well as supermarkets. The room was clean and modern and was big enough for 2. The breakfast was the best and our host (I will not name her) was absolutely the best, always a smile and makes the best cappuccino. If I could, I’d give it 6 stars.

Angela is very helpful and friendly. The room spotlessly clean and serviced every day. For breakfast there was a choice on offer (sweet or savory) and was the normal fare available at most hotels though the coffee was better.

Angela is a born hostess who really made us welcome at her B and B. It is a great base for exploring the area, Salerno is just the right size - it has good transport links to the rest of the Amalfi coast and Paestum and is lively but it also has a more calm, relaxed feeling than bigger cities. Holiday Guesthouse is a great central location, easy to walk to bus or train station and Angela has very good advice and tips for the area. We absolutely recommend it, it was by far the best place we have stayed in Italy, a top hotel standard room, absolutely clean with great shower and fantastic breakfast and the lovely friendly owner!
