"Beautiful spacious room. Amazing shower with strong water pressure. Memorable in that regard. Excellent breakfast too! Lots of choices. Smoked salmon, yogurt with chia, guacamole, hummus, delicious breads, in addition to the standard fare. Once again memorable. "

Only negative was breakfast, (which was lovely and served in a nearby bakery) but hotels.com charged £12.50 each when had we not booked it in advance it would have only been €8 to order at reception…! Take the bus to Besalu and Banyoles lake for a nice day out."

"Staff were amazing, helpful and always smiling. The breakfast was very good, nice variety and specialty coffees. The rooms are a bit shabby, with the floor tiles broken in spots and very minimal amenities. The location is very quiet and double windows to block out sound. The air conditioning was not good, very weak and doesn’t get very cool. Not a problem for us in April but by summer it would be very uncomfortable. Ike storage in the basement was fantastic, able to clean and lock the bikes overnight was a real advantage."
