"If you have a car rented on Lipari, and you enjoy feeling like you're miles away from anywhere, this is the spot for you. It's exactly why we booked it, and it was exactly what we expected. This remote villa is not easily accessed DIRECTLY by car. Very narrow roads to get to the parking area, which is a 3 minute walk down a rugged stone path that is somewhat steep, to access the property. It IS possible to drive down the path. (Whether or not you can drive back up it is based on your car's power...

"This home was the best equipped for cooking of any place we stayed in Sicily. We ate wonderfully here! Two of our company had real difficulty with steps to house because of physical disabilities, but we managed well. Owner was truthful and took good care of our concerns immediately. Lovely place!"

"The location is amazing and the house is a beautiful home typical of the island's style. Please note there are no amenities such shampoo, etc but there is a shop very close by. We did not have beach towels and they kindly brought us some. We would certainly stay there again it was a truly memorable stay. Thank you!"
