"Stayed here 20 years ago but the hotel is so much better now. Fantastic pool and sunbathing area with quality beds, shades and views. Food was also excellent and can highly recommend a Junior Suite with a fantastic bed, bathroom, lounge and balcony. The location is out of town, but centred nicely for the main tourist attractions and only 20 mins from the lovely beach front at Torre Del Mar. Not sure what more I can say but if you are looking for a relaxing quality hotel in a beautiful quiet setting, I can’t see you finding one better in Andalusia. "

"It’s been really great stay, me and my family stayed there for 1 week and really enjoyed, I never wanted to leave the house to go and visit city, it was really cosy place, I actually like to relax on my holidays, no A/C but they provide you with fan which does the job… gas stove needs deep clean and it’s burner does not fires up properly and at some points I was scared to even turn them on…pool is kept clean… the only thing I really don’t understand or agree is that they charge you €90 for cleaning, I mean I stayed at many places but never had to pay for cleaning… even though we cleaned the whole house but still was charged… it supposed to be owners responsibility to make sure it’s clean and ready for next client… we could have left everything in mess and leave because they are going to charge us €90 anyways but we didn’t and was still charged… also bare in mind they have two different advertisement on VRBO where one indicates the €90 charge and one doesn’t and we booked it with one that doesn’t but they still charged us… but overall it was good stay… one last thing is it’s almost one hour drive away from Malaga city so plan it accordingly…"

"Really lovely hotel to escape from the hustle and bustle of every day life. The hotel has the most amazing grounds, staff are excellent and the restaurants are all fantastic. Would whole heartedly recommend for anyone looking to unwind."

"We travelled as 2 families, 5 adults 2 teens and a 5 yr old and there was more than enough space to accommodate us comfortably. All rooms were clean and of a very good size, master bedroom was huge, kitchen was great, very big with all mod cons. But it was the pool that took top honours, we had 8 in the pool at one time and it didn't feel a squeeze. I spent ages looking for the right pool as my daughter loves the water but is severely disabled but the stairs into pool made it easy for me to support her in and out. The other kids just loved it and literally they were in there at every opportunity 10/10 The location is very rural and in the 36°c heat just walking to the bin 70m away up the hill was challenging, so any idea we had about walking to the nearest cafe/shop was out, but having said that it didnt spoil our stay, we were 20 mins from the stunning Comares, 55mins from Nerja, 35 mins from Vélez-Málaga and 1hr from Benalmadena, given just how good villa was this was a drive i was willing to make, infact were already planning to come back. Honestly this was one of the best trips we've had, Carl was a very good host, with good communication and a very friendly laid back attitude."

"We have thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Christa and Pascals Holiday Villa, they are the perfect friendly Hosts. It is extremely comfy, spotlessly clean and welcoming. So peaceful, hearing the birds and stargazing. Excellent base for travelling around, with breathtaking views. Thank you both so much for making our holiday very enjoyable."

"Typical Spanish hotel, full of dark furniture but in an excellent position. Restaurant looked good but was closed, maitre de directed us to possibly the worst restaurant in spain.Will definitely return as Antequera is delightful"
