"It was a lovely, clean house with everything one could need. The owner was always quick to respond to any questions I had. Outside of the city, so you will definitely need a car. But Caldas da Rainha and Óbidos are a conveniently nearby. It also has a spacious, well fenced yard that kept my escape artist dog safe. I highly recommend it."

"The unit was clean and in a good location with ample parking. It was a nice size for our family of four with easy access to the beach (about a 10 minute walk) restaurants and shops. São Martinho is a great beach for families as the cove prevents the really big waves found at Nazare and other beaches. Would definitely return!"

We found excellent cafes and restaurants within Óbidos and did a day trip by bus to Nazaré. However, the 1 bathroom was tiny- it was challenging to even turn around. The bathroom sink did not have a stopper and I didn’t feel comfortable putting in and cleaning my contact lenses over that little sink.
