Not forgetting Dora the adorableCockerpoo...If your thinking of holidaying near Staithes/runswick Bay / Sandsend /Whitby this is the place you need to say....oh and the lemon muffins at breakfast are to die for..The bus stop is 30 seconds away were it costs £3 to go anywhere .."

"Right in the centre of the village, perfect for finding pubs, places to eat etc. Room was fantastic. Really quite big. Also, spotless. Good check in, Cameron couldn’t have been more helpful. Breakfast is also really good."

"Does the job if you just need a place to sleep in the area but it needs some TLC and the garden is over grown, not sure if the heating is working. I'd hace still rated it as average as lomg as your not taking the family on holiday but communication feom the host was dreadful. I shluld have tp asl a half dozen times for access info, its not necessary and it adds to the stress. No one wants to make a three hour drive without knowing they will be able to get in when they get there "

"Beautiful garden and room. The room was a good size with a large, comfy bed, great shower and fresh milk for tea and coffee. We ate dinner there, having established that there were options for a vegetarian who was also coeliac. I had a vegan but not GF wellington, which was lovely. Breakfast was also excellent, with a coeliac-friendly omelette with GF toast. It was all delicious, so thank you Ellerby Inn! The website said EV charging was available. We enquired at check-in and they said we could plug in our granny cable for a slow overnight charge. We didn't have it with us, but it would have been a great option if we did. The staff were welcoming, friendly and caring. We hope to stay again sometime. "

"Lovely place - kids loved having 4 floors to explore! Recommended. Just make sure you are aware of the loading and parking that is required. Some people seemed to be occupying the parking spaces far longer than 30 mins which made loading the car at the end of the trip a bit more of a trek. Only thing I couldn't find in the house was a cafetiere."
