"We've been to Emerald isle numerous times but have never stayed on the sound side of the island. Now that we have, I'm not sure we'll ever go back to the ocean side! "Fancie's Hideout has proven to be the best buy for our vacation time yet again. The house has everything you'll need and I love having a fenced yard for the

. There is a short walk through the woods and over the dune which is very doable. The best part is feeling like you're on a private beach. No one else is anywhere close. We love it here. Very pretty upgrades were done since our last visit."

"The property was secluded and we enjoyed that. However it was not clean. The upstairs apartment floors were dirty as well as the air and heat did not work. The window in bathroom up there is very drafty. Downstairs the beds need to be pulled out and cleaned behind. Food was behind one bed and my small

found it and was sick from eating it. I am not in the habit of pulling beds out to see what is behind them. (Lesson learned)!We had issues with fan and light controls as well as heat and air...
