Dachstein is a mighty karstic limestone range of ca. 20x30 km belonging to Northern Limestone Alps and has dozens of peaks higher than 2.500 metres. From south it has a prominence of more than 2.000 meters and descends steeply to valley of river Enns with city of Schladming. On its north side there are the most northern and most eastern glaciers of Alps. The top summit of Hoher Dachstein has altitude of 2.995 metres.

"Sehr schöne, gemütliche Hütte, in wirklich wunderschöner Lage . Es ist alles da, was man zum Leben im Urlaub braucht, wenn man einfach nur mal Natur pur geniessen möchte und auf Handyempfang/ T V verzichten kann. Uns hat es sehr gut gefallen. Gerne nochmal. Die Gastgeber sind supernett :-)"

Die herrliche Lage im Wald mit einem wunderschönen Blick auf die Berge, die frische Luft voller Düfte nach Tannen, Wiesenkräuter und frisch gemähtem Heu. Und die Aufzählung kann ich endlosen weiterführen. Die Hütte ist für die Menschen die puristisch und selbstgenügsam leben einfach perfekt. Das notwendige ist alles da aber nichts überflüssiges. "Don’t think twice and just book this hotel. The location is wonderful, views beautiful, staff are lovely, food is incredible. One of the best breakfast buffets we have had. We booked half board and the dinner each night was over the top delicious. Kids loved the pools and enjoyed the kids club. Will return!"

"The hotel is very well maintained and has lot of character. There are beautiful spaces around the property to hang out. The spa and steam room, pools are very nice to experience at the property. The view from the balcony was outstanding. The two things I would consider negative: - the room was not very spacious - no air conditioner. The fan provided made noise all night "
