But you need to be aware that you are quiet environment and connections are via small country roads; which takes time for visits, shopping etc. An area which is still to be discovered by tourists! "This rental was a beautiful property set on a ridge overlooking a green valley of olive groves, vineyards and farms and the village of Citta Sant’Angelo on the next ridge over. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen was nice, the pool was clean and fun. The host provided good information about nearby restaurants. For families, there were plenty of activities. There were some surprises in the rental. Without garbage service at the property, we were provided with two garbage bags for one week...

"Es war unser erster Urlaub in Italien, aber definitiv nicht unser letzter! Das Haus besitzt alles, was man sich für einen entspannten Urlaub wünschen kann. "If you are looking for a quiet stay we highly recommend this VRBO. It’s in olde town Spoltore, Abruzzo Italy. It was very quiet, peaceful with a beautiful views and scenery. The power and internet was a bit weak, it dropped a few times, we also lost hot water. "This hotel is located in a nice beach area. It is a little dated but clean and comfortable. There is a meal plan sort of cafeteria style and the food is quite good for the price beach umbrellas are available and the beach is directly in front of the hotel. One word of caution: if you are planning to visit the nearby cemetery commemorating more than 1000 fallen Canadians as well as Australians and New Zealand soldiers in the famous battle of Ortona, Be extremely cautious about your car. Do not, do NOT under ANY circumstances leave your car unattended at the cemetery.Your car will be broken into and you will be robbed."

"Ideally placed for a 2 night stop over in Pescara as close to train and bus station.Handy for visiting lovely shops,bars and restaurants. The room we had was large and a little balcony overlooking the square.Everthing was great.Really comfortable bed.Excellent breakfast. Staff super helpful and friendly "
