"We (family of 4) stayed for 2 weeks in July 2026 and have nothing but good things to say about the hotel. The front-of-house staff deserve a particular mention. Nothing was too much trouble for them. They were excellent in every way. The photos don't do the pool and spa justice. The pool, in particular, was so much better than we were expecting. Samoens is a truly beautiful town and we left determined to return one day. Everyone was so friendly and welcoming. It's the perfect location for a family holiday."

"Quel enchantement ! L’appartement est à mon sens le meilleur emplacement dans Samoëns, à deux pas du Centre sans les inconvénients et au pieds de l’immeuble des magnifiques randos et chemins pédestres ! Quant à l’appartement il est extrêmement bien équipé, la terrasse est très agréable et bien exposé. L’appartement reste frais malgré la canicule.C’est un sans faute et c’est une superbe découverte !"

"We had a wonderful 7 night stay at Denis’ chalet in beautiful Samoëns in July 2026. We were five people: us, our young son, and my in-laws, and everyone had plenty of room to spread out. We loved having meals on the balcony with the stunning views, and we watched an exciting thunderstorm from the covered section one evening. We made great use of the pool almost daily, which was the perfect temperature. The apartment was spotlessly clean, and everything was in good working order. It’s a very short walk into the village center with many restaurants and things to do. One thing to know for those self-catering in summer: there are no grills/bbqs in Samoëns except by special permit, so all cooking must be done inside, but there is a very efficient conduction stovetop, oven, and microwave, and all the pots and pans you need. The hosts provide all bedding and towels, but it’s worth noting that most other things need to be purchased by the guests (hand soap for the bathrooms, trash bags, oil and spices for cooking). There was one roll of toilet paper per bathroom and one roll of paper towels provided. The hosts also provided a few coffee pods for the first morning, which was appreciated. It’s easy to purchase supplies at the Sherpa market a 3 minute walk away. For reference we spent around 75 on supplies for the house (not including groceries) for our weeklong stay. Overall we loved our stay at this chalet and would happily return."

"Room was really clean on arrival. Spacious apartment with balcony facing two ways (went round the side of the apartment). Reception staff were all lovely too. I enjoyed the free visit to the sauna & steam room, which was also clean. I didn’t use the pool but saw a group enjoying it while I was steaming away. It’s 2 stops on the bus, which stops right outside the residence. It’s about a 15 min walk from the GME but I often got the bus to ‘Cinema’, did my shopping at the Sherpa supermarche and enjoyed th peaceful walk over the river back to Lagrange. The kitchen was well equipped and the bed was SUPER comfy (I’m very fussy with beds!). It was a hybrid mattress that wasn’t too firm or too soft and was thicker than many French places I’ve stayed at. It was extremely peaceful and would definitely recommend staying there. Nothing to groan about at all!"
