"We had a fantastic stay for our family ski holiday. We've stayed in other places in Avoriaz in the past and the location of L'Amara is just spot on for children. Our appointment was directly above the ski locker which was straight out onto the run. We used the pool area a couple of times and although it was quite busy, it never felt crowded. The parking was convenient and easy to access the appartment from it. The appartment itself was actually surprisingly roomy for an avoriaz appartment. We had a 2 bed one and it was plenty big enough for a family of 6, including 2 under 5's. The kitchen was well equipped. Overall, we would stay again if we returned to Avoriaz again. "

"Lovely appartment at the bottom of the resort. Has wondeful views and a small balcony. It had everything we needed and more! Appartment has a small hallway for boot storage and we kept our skis on the balcony. We kept the key ij the key safe box every day and it took our worry away from losing this. It has perfect ski in and out to the slope all day. Our only struggle was the hill upto the center of the resort but we didnt mind the walk, 5 minutes to the village center. Can ring for transport at any time. We had full itinery sent out before our arrival and let the host know when we'd be leaving. Was a really lovely place would come back in a heartbeat!! Thank yoy"

"We stayed at this wonderful authentic alpine hotel for 3 nights whilst skiing Avoriaz. It is in s as perfect location for both mountains. Our hosts Jo and Emma were fantastic from start to finish and very helpful and friendly I would recommend this hotel to any one looking for a great place to stay "

"Chalet was ideal for our party of six adults and three children. Fantastically well equipped and hot tub was a great bonus. There is loads of information about the area and discounts for ski equipment and lift passes "

"The staff were very pleasant, but overall the rooms were very tired. Bathrooms are in need of an upgrade and towels had holes in. It was disappointing not to have a bath, I didn’t even think to check when booking. Nice to have the option of a sauna, but the jacuzzi was too cold to use and you had to request the sauna to be turned on, and only between 3.30-7pm, a bit of an odd and annoying system. Breakfast was very basic. Overall I wasn’t very impressed, and wouldn’t recommend. "
