"It was nice to be welcomed by Ricky at the airport to walk to the apartment which is just less than 500 meters away. The beach is about 10 minutes on foot and the shop to fill up drinking water is on the other side of the street which is super cool when you have to fill a big bottle for your week’s consumption. "The owner was really nice and was willing to pick us up and drop us to the airport no matter what the time was. She gave great recommendations for the best restaurants in town and was able to provide connections with buggy rental companies. They cleaned the rooms every day while we were out. "If you like an simple but affordable quiet and well maintained accommodation, then the Red Ground Village may just be for you. It's not luxury but Francesco and his wife are very nice and extremely helpful to make sure your stay is pleasant. I enjoyed calling this place home for the 10 days I spend in San Andrés.
