The pool and surrounding area were great. Lovely to relax after a hard days sight seeing. Would recommend Menger Hotel any time. Didn't actually get to eat in the hotel, but the adjoining Tapas bar was worth a visit.

Beautiful room with good size balcony facing Alamo Plaza. Very close to Fiesta activities. The only hiccup was the broken coffee machine. We made another reservation for the following night because we enjoyed it so much

Everything was wonderful in this historical hotel. It's right next to the Alamo and River Center Shopping Mall and the San Antonio Riverwalk only a few blocks away. I paid $363.55 for two nights with all taxes and fees...group discount for scheduled events held there with Texas Historical Association. Parking was also discounted with group...normally $55 overnight.
