The staff were friendly and helpful and the rooms were clean, spacious and cool in the heat. The staff in the rooftop bar were lovely and the cocktails were great too. "This was probably the most happy we have ever stayed at a property. The restaurant there was fantastic, pasta and pizza options. All fresh and prepared with love every day. The employees were awesome and did everything in their power to make our stay great. We absolutely did not want to leave. We will be back at some point. The location is in a great little village that is gorgeous and quiet. If you don't mind some driving in is pretty much centralized to most of attractions in central and northern Italy."

"5*+ rating for this special hotel in Bologna. For my first trip to Italy, my stay at this hotel made the entire experience that much more special. From the moment I checked in, to when I checked out the entire concierge team were welcoming, friendly and gave great tips on what to do and where to go. I was very surprised to have received a room upgrade - west facing, simply the comfiest hotel bed I have ever slept in and, a gorgeous bathroom with decent water pressure. If I had an extra day to my trip, I would have spent it in the hotel really taking advantage of the bar, lounge and restaurant. Or, just sleeping in - the bed was that comfortable. When I return to Bologna, I will only stay at Savhotel Aemilia."

"Excellent choice of accommodation with self catering kitchenette, and laundry services which is very convenient in the heat of the Bologna summer! A nice alternative to a traditional hotel. Hotel very close to some very cool bars and restaurants, you do not have to go far to find a very vibrant nightlife. Can be a little noisy at night especially at weekend but this is only a minor issue as everything else about the place was perfect. "
