"The photo of greenery and said lake misrepresent a landed house but it was half an apartment of 2 storey with no view as shown. We had to lug our luggage up many steps to enter the apartment and there is another flight. Kitchen is not well equipped with no stove. Rooms however are clean. But soap, bedding provided doesn't match the price we paid. We have experience better quality for less during the 2.5 weeks in Italy. Such a charming place in the quiet town of Sillian. The dinner was spectacular—everything was just perfect. I had the best tiramisu of my life! Breakfast was great as well, and I especially enjoyed the local honeycomb. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. We arrived on a rainy night after an exhausting hike, and it felt so nice to be warmly welcomed into such a cozy place. We’d definitely stay here again!

The girl at reception was very friendly and helpful. She took us to our room and was clearly proud of the hotel and what it offered. The hotel construction, furnishings and décor reminded us of stays we have had in castles and manors. Warm and inviting rooms, and the amenities were like those provided by much more expensive hotels. We enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend this property to others.

Sometimes a vacation is made more memorable by the people you meet vs the places you see. This is certainly the case here. The family was very friendly, knowledgeable of the area and provided useful information and insights. Attention to detail at every turn. See for yourself. Very nice "Spa" inside as well. Relax/meditation area with Teas on one floor and a cold water "grotto", dry and humid Sauna one level below. I had room 101 which offered two nice terraces. One offering shade...
