"Loved this surf hostel. We have stayed at a few "hostels" as a family with two little boys, because they're rough on rooms and a hostel with a wooden floor and durable furniture is perfect for them. Dave the owner was the nicest guy on the planet--he would rush over with his dog (hi, Harvey!) to fill our water bottle and hooked us up with a surf instructor last-minute. Also very forgiving of a mishap with my car where I backed into the plants. It's a functional motel, and it's near the beach. The shower had 3 pump bottles with shampoo, conditioner and body soap. Wish we could have opened the windows, but I understand keeping them shut. We will be back."

"Great place on the water walkable to the beach and restaurants and little grocery store on the same street with an awesome coffee and sandwich shop view from the unit four was amazing! All I needed was an AC unit in the back bedroom windows."

"We live an hour away and this is our third time staying there. Its proximity to shops, restaurants, the pier, and the beach make it an awesome location. We’ve stayed in two different rooms and they are really quirky cool. The showers are awesome and the beds are comfortable, and the rooms are clean."

"It did it's job. It was a simple one floor level hotel we stayed one night in. We wanted a place to sleep and be near food. It also was an easy drive the next day to coffee and the pier after checkout. Staff was very friendly and room was cute and homey. We would stay here again. Price was a little higher than we would expect for this type of hotel, BUT given it's location I can understand the price point."
