Decent!

The vibes are good! Room was decent. For a young 20’s something it’s a nice spot to be with friends and meet people. I just personally have a more bougie taste now that I’m mid 30’s, and it’s not the hotels fault for that. So if you see some lower stars, that’s why. Super nice staff and common areas.
Didn’t end up having roommates which was awesome!

For the price and location I give it 5 stars. Noise and SF grime and lawless factor in the area take a star away. That being said it is what it needs to be and I’d stay there again if everything else around is > $1000 per night.

I arrived, and one host turned to another and asked him to see if there was a bed available in a room. There was doubt about that, which gives a guest a bad vibe. Apparently, there was a bed available. When I hauled my stuff up steep stairs to get there, I found sheets and blanket piled up like someone got out of bed. I hoped that was not how they set up the beds intentionally, and the host confirmed that he would change the sheets. He also commented that the two hosts need to work on their communication. Also, the lock on my locker was broken and could not be secured. The host offered to store my bags in the office, but I realized that's simply trusting someone with them out of my room instead of trusting the people around me while I'm in the room. I opted to keep them. The shower was maybe a little more than 24 inches square. The ladder to the top bunk is tough with the first step high off the ground. It's accurate in the pictures on this site, but climbing it makes it feel worse than it looks. I did like having a sink in the room. I also thought the breakfast was reasonable. There aren't a lot of hostels in SF with decent ratings, so this might be the best of them. I'll think twice about staying here again, but I still might since the other options are not great.

BARTのPowell駅からも近いホステル。朝食やドリンクサービスがなくなり、特筆すべきところがなくなってしまった。トイレやバスルームも壊れている数が多い。ドライヤーも2階は使えず。お客が少ないからか、静かなのはよかった。

The staffs were excellent. Very helpful.the shared lobby and the kitchen are good too. The 6 bed shared room where I stayed were full of worn out beds, did not appear to be ‘clean’ enough. Not enough spaced to hang out used clothes. Maybe, considering the low cost, it should be accepted.

Amazing!!

The Adelaide reminds me of Grandma's house - if Grandma lived in a super cool old mansion. I love the relaxed atmosphere here. The staff are super nice and very attentive, and other travelers that stayed here were friendly and chill. The Adelaide (IMHO) is the best Hostel in SF for remote working - From the Huge Lounge with lots of room and nice private and quiet areas to work in, to the outside Garden at the back of the property, off the HUGE kitchen. You can buy food and cook here and store things in the huge fridges. The bunk beds are super comfy and are very sturdy. You won't feel any movement from your 'bunkie' above or below you, and the privacy curtain is the best! Showers and bathrooms are very clean and working well. The 3rd floor bathroom has the biggest shower head I have ever seen!!!! As a solo female traveler, I felt very safe both at the Hostel and in the surrounding area. The Hostel is very central to everything you need and walkable 24/7.

All the people who work there are very nice and professional: receptionists, housekeepers, a young guy who cleans the kitchen! Thanks to all of you! If I could add anything to this place, that would be some snacks and drinks dispenser and a coffee machine or juste some coffee offered to the guests 🤗 when you are staying only a couple of days, you don’t think to buy ground coffee to prepare it twice a day.
